i still wear your heart.

maybe someday we will all learn our lesson. to grow outside of our own little bow. maybe someday we will learn that its been okay to color outside the lines from day one.
we are taught control our whole lives. so letting go of it in one day, one tiny little second, is asking too much.
so, instead of learned to let go, i'm learning to fine tune. even if there is a little static, to let it play out. because eventually when i get to the right spot it will all be clear. and we'll hear every little word perfectly.

so today will consist of compiling a nice little list of all the things that i like about myself instead of the things i don't. because positive will always come before negative in a rational sense at least.
the lessons that i have to learn outside of all my books have been the most challenging. but obviously we have much more invested in these than we both want to admit. if we didn't, we wouldn't have made it out of the war alive.
